Job Description
Patrols, monitors, investigates and communicates regarding all aspects of Security and Public Safety. Serves as first line of contact for the department. Provides a safe, secure environment for staff, visitors, and patients within the Medical Center Complex and contracted facilities. Reports Public Safety and security concerns. Operates security vehicles. Staffs fixed posts. Makes designated rounds. Enforces rules. Investigates violations. Assists community police and fire officials. Assists in restraining combative patients. Performs escorting, lockout and jump-starting services. Driver's License, position located at University Hospitals.
Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or GED. Certification or vocational training may be preferred. 1 year of relevant experience required. 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.
Valid Ohio Driver's License; must serve 12 months probationary period from date of employment. Selected candidate is subject to successful completion of a psychological evaluation.
