Safety Manager

Charles Taylor Safety Solutions is seeking a Safety Manager in Lexington, KY.

1099 Contract position without per-diem.

Project details:

• 50-58 hours week (M-Sat) (OT).
• 18-months; start-date 3/4/25.
• New construction for a research facility build. Overseeing subcontractors working with piping/plumbing, HVAC ductwork, and excavation.
• BCSP certification or Degree in Occupational Health and Safety required.
• At least 5 years of Safety Management experience. Preferably with experience overseeing excavation work.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conducting project safety inspections and orientations.
• Safety training as requested/required.
• Observation and monitoring of worksite employees and safety practices.
• Complete document reviews, contractor correspondence, and document management.
• Other tasks and activities within the realm of the EHS profession within the manager's skills, abilities, certifications, and authorizations
• Communicating safety standards between trades, GC and sub-contractors
